29 March 2021: Big congratulations to our site team in Cambridge for randomising their first participant to PURSUIT!

15 March 2021: Since we have been back up and running with study recruitment, we have recruited a further 3 participants to the study and have opened our first phase II study site in Cambridge!

17 December 2020: We have now received approvals to restart recruitment to the PURSUIT study following our COVID-pause.   Some study sites are still experiencing delays with starting recruitment due to their high workloads.  We are also working on opening new study sites across the UK.

06 May 2020: We have now opened our fourth pilot site, Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Recruitment of participants will be able to start as soon as the nationwide COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted.

02 April 2020: Due to the wider impact of COVID-19, all recruitment to the PURSUIT study has been temporarily halted at all our study sites – this also includes a halt on taking telephone consent from new participants. For women already taking part in the trial prior to COVID-19: you will continue to be followed-up by your local research team. If you have any queries, you can contact them directly, or the Central Trial Team.

04 March 2020: Research team at NHS Ayrshire & Arran recruit their first patient to PURSUIT.

26 February 2020: NHS Ayrshire & Arran opens to recruitment.

20 February 2020: Birmingham Women’s Hospital opens to recruitment.

29 January 2020: First patient is recruited to PURSUIT by the research team at North Bristol NHS Trust.

21 January 2020: PURSUIT’s first site, North Bristol NHS Trust, opens to recruitment.

20 December 2019: All approvals for PURSUIT have now been received, and our five pilot sites have completed their Site Initiation training. We are looking forward to starting recruitment, and opening more sites, shortly.
